Is this for real?

Wondering if someone would actually buy this...

Looks like one of those fake graders.

I don't think you can call a self slabber "fake". He is just a self slabber, nothing fake about it. He opinion is his opinion.

Awesome coin but if I'm going to throw down 4 grand on a 1914 S Indian, I'd prefer to get this one: More eye appeal in my opinion.

O.K., maybe Fake is a strong word, but I believe they misrepresent what they're selling in general. The case where their self appointed grade is significantly different from a fair grade is what I find to be fake or false advertising. The coin itself may be genuine, but when the price can go from $1000 to $10K I find there is 9K of fake value being sold...

I new to the whole coin evaluation thing, I was really wanting comments on what they think the coin should grade at.

I'm not in the market for spending this kind of money, just wanted to know if this auction was "for real", meaning legitamate.

I've seen a few mentions of CCSG, most are to self slabbers, nothing about a Canadian outfit. If they are legit, you'd think they have some sort of presence on the net.

I know of a CCGS service that is Canadian and uses/used a sealed flip type holder similar to ICCS (Another Canadian firm), but I do not believe this CCGS is the same company.

ICCS is legitimate, and unless they have changed recently they have not had a web presence. Just did a search for them and they still don't have a presence.

Looks like you're right, no web presence.

I'm not even sure that $10 is genuine.
