LD, I too think it will grade VF. Please do let us know as soon as it comes back. You seem to have amazing good fortune with these "out of the blue" finds. I bet my Rocky Mountain Coin would snap that up from you in a NEW YORK minute!

I like the Colorado gold a bit more because of all the stories of that gold rush as opposed to the California gold rush - even though my family was significantly involved in that one.

This is a nice piece, "cleaned" or not it is a significant piece of American history and love the nice 1860's date on it which has to be one of the last dated pieces that was circulated before private coinage was banned during the Civil War.
