Unfriendly Ebay!!!

Okay, before I start let me save some of the negative responses by saying if I would have looked closely at the terms of the sale, I would not be in this position.
Beings i am disabled and pretty much home bound, Ebay has become almost my sole source of coin collecting. What I usually do is wait until the last 5 days before Soc. Sec. check day and then I bid on stuff. If I win I always pay within 5 days. I have over 100 buys on Ebay with 100% feedback.
On to this story, last week i bid on an item and was very surprised when I won. I was very excited and sent the seller an e-mail that I would be sending payment tomorrow morning via paypal as soon as my check posted, and I thanked him in advance for sending me these beautiful coins, (this would be 4 days from end of auction).
He sent me back a nasty e-mail saying he didn't buy my fixed income story and that he needed payment within 48 hours or he would cancel the transaction and relist it. After checking some history on these coins from prior ebay auctions I could see why he wanted another shot at selling them, as i got them for 25% of what any others had sold for in the last month.
I got a notice from Ebay that he wanted to cancel transaction and asked if I accepted or declined. I declined and explained what I planned to do. I have heard nothing else, so tomorrow morning I am sending payment, and hopefully I get my coins. It just bothers me that people can be so rude when you are typing on a screen and not dealing face to face. thanks for listening.
