Security Engravers Group Please Read this Thread!!

Friends...here is a thought I am having and wanted to get a feel from the group on your thoughts;

Since the Group is set up to have everyone perform their presentation and then we can start over again (we can assign multiple presentations if you want at that time) but once we get through this first round, I was thinking we should have a Contest for the best Vignette by Vote (members only) and have that Vignette screened upon a nice Black T-Shirt.

The Vignette choosen will need to be supplied to me at 300 dpi and I can get quotes for the work and Ts...

We would all need to pitch in equal parts to have them made..so what do you say? Should we do this? This will only happen with 100% vote from you, the members.
My neighbor does this for a living and we may get a better deal.

Please place your vote in this thread.

A simple yes or no will do.

Let me know...

I won't wear anything or give off any signal that I collect anything numismatic. I am also the slob(bathed and clean, old clothes) that goes to shows. One thing about this hobby, anonymity in public is a good thing.

This I understand..so please everyone do not think I am dreaming up ways to spend $$$...

It is just a thought...so while we are thinking about it, who is up for a design? Yes I am asking for help...

Any Graphic Artist's here or photoshop wizzes?

What we need is a front design over the left where a pocket would go...
The Vignette would be in it's own glory on the reverse of the shirt.

So should we design a Group Slogan or simply Security Engravers Group?

This is all up in the air now so please voice your opinions...

I would also need a shirt size from you guys as we proceed...

Not to be a wet blanket, but this isn't something I'd be into.

I am a photoshop dude, and have a great contact for t-shirts (ordered 100 printed one side for $7 each just a couple days ago), would be happy to offer both of those if helpful.

Well based on results thus far, I say it 's a no go.

I should have thought about what SM said, afterall.. I just went through a huge ordeal myself...so lets nix this idea.

Dave..would like to talk with you about some PS techniques.

Rick

We can still have a vote for the best one (members only) and have then vignette be the group's logo until the 2nd round is over and we re-vote. That way, the fun is still there, but no funds go out and no unwanted t-shirts are printed.

Whatdya think?

Bobbeth87 has a good I idea, the winning vignette would be the groups logo, and no funds would be needed & next years winning logo would replace it.
Whatdya all think ?
