I am new to Coin Talk. I guess you could say I am a combination collector, trader and investor like most of use are and in some cases a little bit of a gambler looking for the ultimate find that normally eludes us. I have been collecting for 20 years or so and am most fond of Franklin Halves, Mercury Dimes and Large Cents (I know kind of a strange mix) but have decent collections of most everything. I enjoy both old and new coins and the thrill of the hunt for that something special to pass on to future generations of the family. I always justify my purchases with the "I am going to sell for a profit" but I seldom sell once I own it. Just good clean fun.
