1923-D Peace

I found this 1923-D Peace Dollar among my collection and never noticed the die crack. I think it is Vam-1K. I looked it up on Heritage and they sell for $150-$200 in MS64 and my coin looks as good as the ones they have graded MS64. Pleasant surprise.

I am happy you like your peace dollar. It appears to have a early stage die crack. Some of these can have die cracks all over the place.

Your image is just out of focus enough that I can't make an evaluation.

Not only that, but the white balance appears to be off as well

One of these days I'm going to investigate "white balance".
I know my camera is capable of being adjusted for that.
I just don't know the impact of doing that adjustment vs. ignoring it.

Does appear to be in great shape. How's the reverse? And don't worry about white balance, just get the photo in focus and that will make for a greater photo for clarity. First things first. Also, lots of light reflections at the top and left so I suppose you were using a light source at that location. Really nice looking coin though.
