1960 D question

I pulled these four from a few rolls of 60D's I was going through. I assume that it is die deterioration but just wanna make sure. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure, maybe die gouges, but other pics could prove it to be die deterioration. Is it on all four coins?

Yes, out of 250 coins these four all looked the same.

All four are identical. In which case I hadn't thoughtr about gouges. Would also make sense.

It could be gouges. I've got half a dozen or so 1959 D's with the same gouge on all of them.
