India 2 Paise 1968

Krause says there are two types. Where should I look to know if my coin is "Type 1" or "Type 2" ?

easy answer... dunno!

they show types 1 as having different size numerals, and types 2's as also having different size numerals. All dates of those years are all the samer materials and weight. Is 1 prrof and 1 unc?

as great a resource as the krauss books are - they have alot of mistakes, typos ect.

If you collect coins from India as much as Paraguay .. i might pick up a copy of a regional coin catalog and use that over the Krauss books.

Small Lion and Large Lion on the obverse. The small variety is the scare one. I do not have pictures now to illustrate. Hope this helps.
