1632 Archduke Leopold Taler - NGC MS-63

Just got this as part of an upgrade/trade in.
DAV-3338, Archduke Leopold Taler, Hall Mint
Beautiful toning and design, in my opinion, specifically the reverse details.

Very nice Zohar.
I agree with your assessment of the reverse.

Isn't the Taler a silver coin?

I don't know the coin personally but certainly looks nice. Isn't the Taler a silver coin? It looks like a copper coin in the photo.

Very best regards,

If a TPG (a.k.a. Taler Professional Grading) had slabbed it in 1632, then it might look a little bit different today.
