Hey, folks--
My name is Tony, and I just discovered this board today, though I have posted on other coin-related boards.
I started collecting coins at the age of 10 or so, put together some basic sets from the cash register in the family grocery store, and then stopped collecting coins for the better part of 40 years or so, when my brother gave me a 21-D dime for Xmas. That was in 2002.
Since then, I have put together a reasonable date/mm collection or two. My collecting interests the last couple of years have focused on Seated dimes.
That series found me when I picked up a gorgeous, high-grade 1864-S at a flea market, of all places. It was love at first sight, honestly, and a benefit of living in the San Francisco Bay Area. If I ever figure out how to do so, I may use pics of that coin as my avatar.
