compared to the doubled die I have, this looks to me like I have a doubled die 1972 S.

Pic is way too small to see any details. Look at your pics prior to posting and see if you can see your "questionable" area. I believe that would help alot.

Yep, we need bigger pics...

Don't forget there is master die doubling that impacted two hubs and is present on at least 50% of all '72 Lincolns in varing degrees. All too often it is confused with a new or listed doubled die.

another point:
remove the coin from the 2X2 prior to taking the picture.
The plastic blurs the picture.
