I don't own one yet but I suspect I will sooner or later. I'd like to see them again for the 30th anniversary set. I too have worried over the fact that the US Mint might discontinue the American Silver Eagle. If this be the case, does anyone have any thoughts as to what might replace it? I've taken CT member SirCharlie's advice and written to both of my state Senators regarding the issue of the loss of the 2009 ASE & AGE Proof collectors coins in hopes they will voice my sentiment to the appropriate agencies in Washington DC. I recommend others to follow suit with your elected officials if you feel so compelled to have your voice heard and to defend these coin programs.
