Talking happy day!

Today I finally got $500 in halves ordered! Additionally I got 3 Ike dollars and a star note from the nice people at my in store Wells Fargo (they actually searched the single stacks for/with me) there was a lady who deposited older halves; sadly the teller took the Franklin half and silver Kennedys she deposited, but I got the roll she deposited, hopefully there's something good in there!

Just thought I'd share that with y'all

Haha, I have no patients... the instant I get a box of coins, I feel the need to trade it in the next and get something else!

Not sure if thats a good thing though...

Sounds like you have a teller that knows a couple things about basic cherry picking. It still is good to have someone who sets things aside for you. My wife is a teller, and she only brought me a DC quarter home so far!!! I'm going to have to put her through some serious training I guess.

Save the '83s, '87s and everything after 2000 since those were not intended for general circulation.

It would appear so!

And why the 83 halves? I thought those were regular issues?

'83 is a funny year for coins. Even though there were lots minted, not many high grade examples are around, maybe something to do with no mint sets that year. Keep only the highest grade examples from that year, some think they may be worth more some day.
