My Mood:
Want to buy Foreign Coins ( several lbs)

First, I want to say that I am not real familiar with Jewish traditions, but several years ago a best friend of my wife, asked my wife where she could get some foreign coins for a Hanukkah game. Of course, you know who my wife volunteered . For last 6 or 7 years, I gave several pounds of coins for the participants, and enjoyed the idea they might get interested in coin collecting. Well, I am down to my last handful. I could never get a large number of Jewish coins as they seem to be very popular, so I just used general foreign coins..

I need to buy several pounds of nice foreign coins. I can get them off of ebay for about $6-8 per pound + shipping, but would rather get them from a CTer. I am willing to pay more if there are better mixtures. PM me if you have several pounds or a "DEAL" I can buy.

"The tradition of giving gelt, or Hanukkah coins, to children began in Europe
in the Middle Ages. Occasionally the gelt is used to create a pot for a game of dreidel."
