Help with Identification - Indian Coin

I was given my grandfather's coin collection over 20 years ago and he had a coin that was only identified with the comment "India" on the outside of a small envelope. The coin is very small (about 6/16" of an inch in diameter) and I've included a couple of photos of both sides. Does anyone know the coin, denomination, and year? Your help is appreciated.
