There doesn't seem to be any numbers, or writing of any kind on the coin. What is it, and where is it from?? I have a picture of it next to a Roosevelt Dime, for size reference. I can weigh and measure it, if needed. Thanks. I know India has issued some very small gold coins but I can't say if that is one of these or not. I have never seen any of them, just read about them. Given the design it appears to be some sort of fanatsy Mexico gold peso or 2.5 peso. Mexicans have produced numerous different little gold "pesos" in "private mints", as souvenirs for tourists. This is not a very common design but is basically the same thing as the little maximilian gold pieces that are flooded on eBay. Some of them are 22k gold and others are just plated scrap metal.
