I don't know the prize yet, but I am assuming I have alot of time to get one. Here is how many posts you are allowed. Remember, no two posts can be back to back, you cannot post #896 and #897. Here is a list of how many posts you are allowed:
5 posts: Bought the Lincoln Chronicles Set
6 posts: Owns an MS67 Morgan Dollar
7 posts: Owns a complete Half Dollar Set (excludes Kennedy Halves)
8 posts: Owns an MS68 Morgan Dollar
9 posts: Has one of the top five registry sets
10 posts: Has a 1914-D in AU or higher.
Unlimited posts: Own a Panama-Pacific Round or Octangonal Gold: The rare one!
None of the Above? Two posts allowed...

cowards!
Okay, I'll go first!
here goes:
post
okay, I went first, or is it second?
is it the 1,000th or the 1,001 post-- which would be the 1,000th reply?
Oh, my head aches.
continuing my inane thoughts:
Question:
7 posts: Owns a complete Half Dollar Set (excludes Kennedy Halves)
It this just Barbers & Walking Libs & Franklins?
Or all the Busties & Seated also?
In which case-- never mind.
I had a thought.
also: Has a 14D in AU?
14 D Lincoln?
Do you all realize that we are using up all of our tries asking questions?
or just edit the original, but n one reads old posts!
interesting comments below, stop by ocassionally and see my thoughts!
LOL.
See ya in 990 posts.

I had a thought. | No, you are post #2, 1000 wins. I was one. And thank you for your analysis on the last contest. I subtracted all of the people that made more than two posts and found a co-winner.
I'm only allowed two posts because I don't have any of those so I can't win now...

Is the posts allowed on the honor system or will the winner be required to show proof at the conclusion?

But what if you have the requirement for 5 posts and 7 posts, but not 6 posts. Do you add the 5 and 7 together to get 12 or do you just use the higher one and get 7?
??

?? | You get the highest number you have. In your case, you would get seven.

Not only that, but I dare him to try to figure out just how many post each poster has on which topic. If someone ever wins, there will be a minimum of 100 posters and probably more like 250. Then he has to go through all 1000 posts and sort them out to find how many each is allowed and how many each has made. Good luck.

I currently have the #1 1909 Mint Set on the Registry, does that mean I get 9 posts?? I'm sure it's not one of the top five sets in the entire Registry though.
