To be quite honest there is no way to tell if the coin is real or not without examining it in person - assuming of course that one knows how to tell. It appears there may be some rim damage from the obverse picture but that may be just my eyes. And the word LIBERTY in the headband is in incuse large letters just like in the Morgan dollar.
