My Mood:
FS: BU 1862 $1 Princess Gold Coin

Up for sale is one beautiful 1862 one dollar coin! It's a low MS coin in my opinion or at worst an AU-58 coin. It's a beautiful and lustrous BU example. I'd like $285 since it's a higher grade coin. But, you can send me an offer and I'll see if I like it.

Numismedia lists AU-58 at $276, MS-60 at $312, and MS-61 at $420

Reverse

Illustration of die clash, you can see "RT" of LIBERTY clearly as well.

Obverse (die clash most noticeable below "O" and under "AMERICA")

COMPARISONS...

Here's a few pictures to compare my coin with others.

Example of the same die clash

Example of AU-55 (mine is better

AU-58 (mine has much less scratches than this AU-58)

MS-60 (comparable)

MS-61 (comparable as well)

BU sold on eBay (mine looks better too : http://cgi.ebay.ca/1862-1-Princess-GOLD-Dollar-Piece-NEAR-GEM-BU-GEM-BU_W0QQitemZ280400425721QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_U S_Individual?hash=item41492af2f9&_trksid=p3286.c0. m14

Shipping is $12.50 which includes insurance. I'll accept PayPal, or Canadian cash.

PM me with any questions you may have.
