Napolean coin values

I have been trying to look at various on line sources for the value of a 1856 D Napoleon III 10 centime Coin in "good" condition. I can't quite make out the denomination, but the coin is the size of a quarter, maybe a little larger. I'm guessing 10 centimes (KM#771). The coin is 3 mm wide. Can't seem to find anything. What is the mintage. Thanks in advance.

p.s. are there any good on line sources for world coins? I want to try a keep from bugging you all all the time about some of my international coins.

If you are wanting good info on world coins I would recommend the Standard Catalogue of World Coins. There are several different books for different Centuries. I believe your measurements are wrong. If it is about the size of a quarter(which is 24.3mm) than it is probably a Cinq(5) Centimes. An 1856-D for 5 Centimes have a mintage of 7,669,000 and there are two varieties(small and large D). If it is in Good(G-4) condition than it worth probably 50¢.

To give an accurate value, pictures would be helpful.
Are you sure only 3mm and not 3 cm??
Krause has several books on world coins - done by century.
Mine are at home, when I get there I will let you know mintage and approzximate value

Alright, to be more precise it is KM# 771.4 Mintage is 5,118,000 and at Fine it is valued at $3.00 but if it is G-4 than it is probably worth 75¢. And for the record, it is the size of a half-dollar not a quarter.
