Smile Whole lot of coins

Hi I'm new here. I received some coins when my Grandma passed away many years ago. I have very little, to no knowledge about these coins. Are any of them valuable? Extreamly rare? I'd love to here what you all think.

The coins are in the same spot but flipped in the second scan.

Have you added to the collection recently? Some of the world coins, Korean in particular, are quite recent (2002 and 2004).

I'm not well versed in world coins, so I'll leave it to others to fill in the gap. Fun collection of world coins. Know any the stories as to how your grandmother came to have them? That is always worth much MUCH more than $$'s in my book

Yes, my friend gave me a few random coins that he had laying around that I haven't seen before. So I just added them to the collection.

I don't know how my grandma came upon the older ones, the oldest one from 1867. The silver dollars she probably got when she was a kid.

I was trying to find a price guide on the Internet for silver dollars, but couldn't find one.

On Ebay they had some going for $25 US. I saw a 1939 silver dollar exactly like mine selling for $50 US

Is this what there actually worth or are people just getting desperate?

No they aren't desperate (although it is possible that they overpaid a little). The canadian coins for the most part don't look to be particularly rare, but they do have some numismatic value as well as some bullion value (many of your older Canadian coins are silver). When you say a "silver dollar exactly like mine" are you saying a coin with the exact same designs on it or are you saying a coin is the exact same condition as mine? Condition is a huge part of value.

I meant, its the exact same year and design. Mine has no physical damage its just a little tarnished.

eBay tends to be a pretty good barometer of current values, so if you can find coins from reputable sellers (all positive feedback, or nearly so, and a long history of selling on eBay) then those prices can be trusted.
