start of my paper collection

These are the first of my paper collection, consecutive # 1934 C $5 silver certificate. Can anyone give me ideas on the likelyhood of being able to put together the 1934 series in $5 in consecutive #'s. I have been looking on ebay and have not seen that many $5 silver certs in consecutive order. Lots of $1 but not so much on the $5's. Are they just not as common to be found in consecutive #'s or are people just not selling if they have them. Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

you will definitely have a harder time finding consecutive 5's than 1's. i would check heritage from time to time. you might find a run of say 3-5 notes. also depending on what condition and series the notes are it can get quite expensive gl on your quest

Thanks, I realize it may get expensive and have noticed a slight premium on consecutive $5 notes as compared to $1. I haven't even seen any consecutive $10's so I just put that idea out of my head for now.

But the goal is attainable, and once your there, the satisfaction will be great ... and SC's are just plain cool lol

good luck! and if you ever do try $10's... expensive i think is an understatement!!!

Keep up with your collection. Don't give up over the years. Later, try collecting solid numbers and other fancy numbers.

Welcome to this segment of the hobby! While I have more coins in my collection then notes, I find that I spend more time thinking about notes then coins...It's addictive!
