I have a question about a the 1934 $10 FRN issued by the Dallas Bank (K).
I've seen the catalog price set at 400.00 and noticed a few for sale from $370 - $400 online. So I thought I'd check out the serial numbers for the issue at USpapermoney.Info to find out how rare this issue was.
Well, aparently it isn't rare are all. The notes on that sire are coalleced together with all 1934 series (1934, 1934A, B, C, D) and the notes issued from the Dallas Branch number 80,712,000. This is a far cry from the least issued which is from teh Chicago branch (G) at 2,156,000.
So - why is the Dallas branch so expensive then? Must be something else.
