Old Canadian Dollar Bills

I have 2 old Canadian Dollar bills dated 1954 and 1 dated 1973, wondering how much they are worth?

Hi and welcome! Firstly, condition of the bills has a great effect on their value. The better condition a note is in the higher the value it might have, depending on collector interest.

Your 1954 might be worth a bit depending on which portrait of Her Royal Highness, Elizabeth II is on it. There was an uproar over the first rendering of HRH with some saying they saw a Devil's Face in the hair. This was amended in later issues of the Series 1954 notes. Who signed your note and whether or not it contains an asterisk also has some bearing on the value. Notes signed by Beattie & Coyne that contain an asterisk are the most valuable.

The 1973 might be worth something too if it has an AXA in the serial number.
