Get a magnet! If you do happen to find such an anomaly, PCGS has stated publicly in print that it wants the coin sent to them via registered mail. My guess is it would be quite valuable, assuming it was struck at a US Mint. Do not release such a specimen to anyone other than PCGS or NGC for that reason.

By the way, I heard on the radio last week that Congress has authorized the production of all-steel cents as well as nickels for 2009, to save production costs. As we all know,for years now, it has cost far more than $.01 and $.05 respectively to produce the penny and nickel.
