check by credits

why do I have a thing by the bottom of my profile , by the colored dot and the triangle that says check?

Because the sytem sets it up like a checking account at a bank. If you click on that Check, it brings up a window that says - Checking:XXXX Credits

It's like a way to check your balance at the bank is all.

It looks like you can transfer your credits from checking to savings and earn credit interest (although there is a transfer fee). Is this correct? I can't imagine doing that since the credits don't seem very useful for me personally...but it is kind of interesting.

I put some in my savings account since I can't buy an ad with them anyways apparently. Right now the system only allows me to Gift an ad to another member??? Seems like the site is still under construction though w/ the credits being added and our now 4 week long "thread of the week" thread. Will just be patient until it's all up and running, but until then, I'll be earning interest!!!!
