How do you edit a POLL?

I made a poll but wanted to change one of the options as it was not complete.

Thanks

Too late now anyway since the 24hr window has passed.

Peter, is this something that can switched on or off? Or is there a reason it is off that I might not be aware of?

Editing of any post, after 24 hrs, is not permitted because SPAMMERS were coming back a day or two later and editing their posts and adding SPAM, links, porn - pretty much everything you can think of.

You see, they figured out that the mods read every new post made. But we don't have the time to go back and re-read every post every single day. However, since not all members visit every day, THEY see those older posts as new posts. And they get exposed to the SPAM, porn etc.

So the only way to stop it was to cut off editing privileges after 24 hrs.

Yes I realize this, I meant to ask if the option was available for future polls within the 24 hr window. i.e. a feature of the forum that may just be disabled.

As you noted in the thread with the poll in question that the poll is actually accurate and does not need editing.

If there is a way to edit polls, I have never seen it. And I can do a whole a lot of things that nobody else but Peter can do.

My Mood:
I don't know about what other Mod's see, but I know I can edit polls -
At the top of each poll I have an option to Edit Poll. When I clicked on the one in question is brought me to a page where I could edit the questions, and change other poll detail.

Yeah, we can change the wording of each option, even change the number of votes if we want. But we can't add more options or delete any of the options already there. And that's what Crusty was asking about.
