That was some "oops". I used to be responsible for keeping things up to date at a company I used to work for. Letting the DNS expire would have been grounds for instant termination. Just careless. Fortunately, Coin Talk isn't a full-on business where a day of downtime costs the bottom line thousands of dollars.

Glad to see it back where it belongs, though!

LOL, I know how you feel. Every once in a while you have one of those days at work.

Yes, I've come to rely on CT and took it for granted that it would always be there when I felt like perusing! Since I have my computer set to automatically sign in on CT, after it came back on, I had to remember my user information and password! Geese, I panicked for a few seconds until it all came back to me!

I do regularly check and also post on the PCGS (Collector's Universe) forum, and I have to say that I finally "lost it" a bit on a CU post about CT being down and, of course, an ex CT member just felt he needed to vent and began bashing CT (again). So I finally had to tell him to quit his whining, get over it, and move on. And it was nice to see others chime in and tell him that no one forced him to be on CT, that if it wasn't a good fit for him, to simply go elsewhere. As Jack put it, "Change the channel. Your not forced to go there. Pretty simple if you think about it." Kudos to all the CT defenders! And I'm sure glad all is back to "normal" here at the wonderful world of CT!

It was. But not long ago Peter attained the rights to the .com domain and now it is both.
