Thread: 1974 D dime error?

This 1974 D dime looks off color and has some reeding missing on one part of the coin. The rest of the reeding is light and hard to see. It almost looks like the W in WE is under the rim of the coin. Any ideas on what this might be?
The first image will show the color.
The second image will show the reeding.
The last image will show the rim near the W.

From the look of it it has been in the ground. or soaked with coke cola in car dash cup holder for some time.
