My Mood:
About a week and a half late

Howdy,

Sorry I'm a little late on this.

My name is Chris, I am 46 years old, originally from Baldwin, Long island and now live in Northern, VA. After school, I served in the Navy for 5 years(any veterans out there?!), and am now a Financial Planner with National Rural Electric Coop Association. Been married for 24 years and have 3 children (2 in college - JMU and Va Tech).

To be honest with you, although my grandfather dabbled in coins and taught me a little about them, I just recently got involved in coins because of a mid-life crisis - I was bored!!

But now, I can't get enough! I am addicted to cointalk, addicted to Heritage auctions (where I blow up photos of coins and guess their grade), and can't put down the one SLQ I bought (I think that's a sign I like the hobby - I can't stop looking at it!! - I'm sure some of you can relate)

I have a lot of questions (as some of you know). I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed (as some of you know) - I'm really more of a "mudder" - I get better through persistence.

All of the contributors on this site are first rate! You are extremely knowledgeable, have good opinions, and do not make newbies feel stupid for asking questions.

Going forward I am going to use the search function to see if a topic has come up in the past, so as to not waste anyones time, but other than that, I'm gunna ask away.

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you on the trail.
