Of all the Sacagawea Dollar coins minted in 2000, only 5500 of them, or 0.00043% of the overall total, were produced by the first die variety, and all of them found their way into private hands through Cheerios boxes. As of 2009, only a few sales of the "Cheerios Dollars" have been recorded, but the selling price per coin has reached as high as $11,500.

I know the high of $11,500 has been toppled as I got this off of an old site but this was quite an education for me. Was anyone on this site lucky enough to get ahold of one of these "Cheerios Dollars"?
