LinkBack Thread Tools Rate Thread Display Modes 04-28-2005, 11:07 PM   #1 (permalink) jrs Junior Member   Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 3 question from a new member. i have a friend who found a 1965 quarter that is double stamped identically on both sides with heads. its worn a bit and seems to have been in circulation. I thought it could be a fake. who knows. both sides have the same stamping. its worn a bit but its all legible. is this a rare coin? this guy doesnt have much and is hoping he found something great. Also the mint dies are made so that there can't be two heads on the dies.
