I'm new to coin collecting, so I've been going through years of collected change in jars. I found a 1945 copper wheat penny - it's in slightly rough condition, but I thought they made mostly steel pennies in the early 40's. I thought it might be somewhat rare. Your 1945 bronze cent is a normal cent. Actually, my girlfriend found it in the bottom of her purse. It was probably an F-12.
