Proof like 1861 Half dime...value?

I lucked into a half dime purcahse and the coin is flawless!

I was wondering what it was worth in MS-65 or MS-67?

Any ideas?

What about Proof-like? 8O

In MS-65, this coin would likely be worth between $1500 and $2000. However, a better valuation could be provided if you posted some pictures of the coin.

The original post was in 2002. The coin was probably a bit cheaper back then

And just as useless without a photo. He's still a member.

Must be fun to dig up a thread from 2002, and talk to a member who hasn't posted here in nearly five years. LOL
