French coin date 1752 advice please
Hi,
this is my first forray into the world of coins.
I found many years ago, in France a coin of the following description,
it is a shiny silver, but only the size of a today's penny (I am in the UK), but it is not a perfect round shape.
It has a picture of a woman? (it could be a man in a wig) on the front and the words around the outside which say FRANC.D.G.R.I.S. A.GER.I E R.REX
On the reverse it has an elaborate crest with the words around the outside MEA 1752 TU.DOMINE SPES (where the 1 looks as though it is back-to-front).
Could you please let me know what I have, and whether it is worth anything?
Many thanks,
Juliette
