actually found a silver quarter in circulation today!

I was just posting about this during the weekend how I work at a bank and still haven't seen one in circulation and my dad gave me my first one this weekend. Well here I am at work and the lobby closes at 4:00 and I saw a man walking to the glass doors with a large cloth bag which I knew was full of change. Partly for customer service and the other part because I like change I went to my side door and told him that I would still run it through the changer. Well there were over $600 in quarters in the bag and sticking out to me like a sore thumb was a 1948D quarter!

Who says good deeds don't get rewarded?

The irony in the whole thing because of my question on here this weekend I think is a little funny.

I will post a pic when I get home!

I added a pic I think #5 in this thread. Finally got a scanner which is gonna have to work till I learn to take photo's of coins.

That is funny - I read your other thread over the weekend and figured you were bound to find one eventually. Like someone else in that thread - the last two I have found have come from a soda machine.

Congrats

How ironic.

Will you start another thread saying how you've never found a bust dollar in circulation next?
