Most of the information put out by GATA is thoughful and well researched. As near as I can tell, they are essentially correct that all sorts of tricks in the paper markets are being used to supress the price of gold and silver. But I differ with them in their thinking that this is an organized conspiracy. I think it's just a lot of individual decisions by various central banks and other groups to manage their day to day affairs the best they can.

IMO these guys wear tin foil hats to keep the government from reading their thoughts (i.e. they are a very paranoid group).
