Polk dollar coin news

Did anyone else notice in the current issue of Coinworld that they said the Polk dollar coins will be eligible for the direct ship program from the mint? This was not done with the last few issues. Interesting.

I wonder if that will affect the prices on the secondary market of the mint wrapped rolls?

Due to be released in August...

if that is the case. then the future prez dollar will not be as bright as the harrison and tyler dollars. since harrison already moved up. now will be the time for tyler to move upward. since both have the same number of mint rolls. and as far as the total mintage. tyler is 10,000,000 lesser than harrison.

Bob, thanks for the news! That would be excellent news for the Tylers which have been languishing in the bargain bin.

So does this mean I should have kept my Tyler Roll of D's.
I got one of the highest prices on ebay for the roll, over $57, so will they go higher?

Yes, I canceled my last mint Tyler order as I only broke even on the sale before that. If Polk are in the direct program, it would seem that they will have a higher mintage would it not?

I hope I get my two Tyler D rolls to match the two P rolls. I think they will be keepers.

that's it. in the future, i will not buy any presidential mint roll, the last three territorial mint roll. i only subscribe the last two lincoln mint roll. i see the mint production will gradually increase.

I may get a box of the Native American dollars and I will keep my eye on the pres dollars. When you are producing 25 separate dollars a year anything can happen.

Note that the Mint is required to mint the Native American dollars at a quantity equal to 20% of the total Presidential Dollars mintage. That means the N.A. dollars cannot be the lowest dollar mintage for the year.
