25 "golden dollars" per year, is that correct?

4 presidents and 1 Native American "golden dollar" designs per year
10 regular issue (P and D)
10 satin mint set issues (P and D)
5 "S" mint proof issues

For a total of 25 "golden" dollars issued every year.
Is that correct? It seems like a lot, is anyone collecting all 25 golden dollars every year?

yes, that count is correct, danr. Personally I am putting away circulation quality coins, not the satin finish ones. I reckon that in the future the Mint Set coins will still be easy to acquire by simply breaking up a Mint Set, but what about finding nice BU circ coins? where are they going to be found? I am speculating a bit on this and I don't have huge amounts of them, just a few nice ones from both mints of each coin. enough so that when my grandkids ask me (in a few more years) I can give them nice high grade circ strike coins for their collections without spending a dime over face. Even if they become scarce.

Yes I am collecting them all. I actually have two dansco for each so 1 set can have the Satin Finish coins and the other has the business strike coins.

So I am actually collecting $30 each year!! (two sets of the proofs)

This two Dansco approach is a good idea. I think I'll have to move in that direction myself.

Thanks, I always buy the Dansco with proofs. I couldn't decide what to do so I decided to do 2 sets for each!! I love the look of the Satin finish coins in the dansco.
