forgot to get this before I went home

I don't remember the exact serial number or series or even year but I do remember it is a $1 and on the serial number I don't remember the first 2 numbers but the last 6 are all 8's. So it's like 7188888888 Is that anything special?

That all depends on the collector. I would certainly consider putting it on eBay if the note's in good shape.

to the right collector depending on the condition and year it it might have a small premium. also what reserve could have a bearing on it. but not to much. you could hold onto yourself its only a $1 dont think its worth the time to put it on ebay. JMHO

I've never sold any currency on ebay and don't think that I will now either. I am going to buy it from my drawer tomorrow though and I still have another $1000 in 1's to go through tomorrow.

Banknotes with the number 8 are very popular and collectible in some countries. The number 8 is suppose to bring luck so the more 8's the note has the luckier it is.

$1... I'd keep it - it's pretty neat.
I've also found a note with 6 digits, but not as good as yours. It was 92522222
