My question is about mintmarks, is it still inthe range in the 1953s? The 1954, the 5 is filled in. What is that called? Thanks for any help. Posts: 2,742 My Mood: Around 1990, the US Mint standardized the font and size of the Mint Mark, making the Mint Mark a part of the template or hub from which the dies are made.
