Normally I'm one of the first to say MDD - but this one might not be. Can you give us more and better pictures, including a couple of the whole coin, larger pictures of the date and Liberty, and a closeup of IGWT

You might be right. The L and B in Liberty do look like they a double, but I would like to see a better picture of the coin.

full views

I can't get good pictures of the ONE CENT on the reverese. The letters are too large for the microscope but here is a front and reverse view of the same penny.

Oh, and can you post good pics of ONE CENT on the reverse?

I'm asking because there is a very large DDO on the 1971 that your pictures show intriguing similarities too. Take a look at the diagnostics for the LDS here: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=lds

There is also an MDS state, with different diagnostics.

If it looks like this (which is what I see) http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds you've got a winner.

I can't really grade the coin from those pictures, but I'd say at least $100. Very nice find, congratulations!

Thank you.. you guys have been Great. I have some others I'll post soon too.

Yesterday when I searched new rolls I got a 1901 indian head and you can still read the word LIBERTY in the head dress band.

I'll try to get a good picture of the 1941 penny I have where the letter T is embeded in Lincoln's jaw line.
