Great looking bill. I just lost out on this one on Tuesday's HA auction by $20 bucks in the last 20sec's and this was a real rare one, I was trying to steal it for $200 when it was worth much more .

Yes, the gold certificates can take quite a toll on the ol' piggy bank. One could conceivably by a handful of other nice notes, even large size notes, for the cost of a single gold certificate. The 1928 $10's are the only exception, $150 should get you an EF-40 example.
