One example that shows this is a counterfeit is the rim. Coins from this era weren't stuck with a collar so there shouldn't be a pronounced rim. This coin has an obvious rim. Here is an authentic example I found online. What you need to be comparing any coins to are genuine examples. Noticing the differences between the genuine and fake coins is far more productive. And yes, this is a fake.
