Subscribed threads?

Why does it subscribe me to a thread whenever I post a reply in it? Is there any way that I can turn this off?

Thanks

My Mood:
Click on "User CP" at the top of a page

Scroll down until you find "Edit Options" in the list on the left side, and click it.

Scroll down to the "Messaging and Notification" section, and locate the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" dialog box.

Click on the down arrow to get the list of options, then click on "Do Not Subscribe."

Problem solved.
