1999 Cadadian Quarters - no denomination

I Think I posted in the wrong section before, so here it goes....

I am very new to the coin thing and wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction.
I have a 1999 Canada Millennium quarter set. It has a quarter for each month of the year and a special Millennium Quarter. On the September Quarter and the November Quarter, The Words '25 CENTS' is missing from the queen side of the coin. The rest in the set say '25 CENTS' on th queen side. Any ideas if these are worth anything? I can't get a straight answer from local shops. Thanks!!

The "buy" I think is somewhere around C$40-50 or so. The hype around them has pretty much died down from the original hype when they were trading upwards of $1000, until lots of people discovered that they too had the errors, and the market started to decline..

Millenium Mules

The coins you have are mules that were accidentally minted without a denomination.

Initially the thought was that they were quite rare.

It turns out that they are scarce. Somewhere in the 10-20k figure has been reported.

The initial "negative" reaction has settled and the coins are finding their price point. They are typically selling on eBay in the $75-100 range.

I would say hold on to them.

It's basically the reverse of a September or November 1999 25c muled with the 25c obverse used 1990-1998 in Canada.
