1916 slq

As most of you know, the 1916 SLQ is a key date. Who wouldn't want to pay BV for one? How can you tell if a type one is this elusive date?

I bought a bunch of SLQ's and one was a dateless type one. I doubt I am lucky enough to find it out to be a 1916. Attached is a picture of the coin in question.

As the image was loading, as soon a I saw the top of Liberty's head, I knew it had to be a 1917.

I agree with Mark.
Liberty has to break the design at the top.
