My Mood:
Looking for a 'F' 1839-O $2.5 Classic head

This is a long shot but I figure I better exhaust all options now if I ever plan to find one. With a mintage of 17,000 and about 500 known to exist, I don't anticipate this will be an easy order to fill.

But anyway, I'm interested in finding one graded Fine or less. Scratched ok, but preferably not cleaned if at all possible and preferably graded by NGC. PCGS would still be ok.
I don't have a small fortune to blow on a perfect one and really wouldn't want to anyway, but would consider just about anything under 4 figures.

After looking into this coin, it has moved to the top of my most wanted list.

If anybody knows of one or spots one fitting this description, please PM me. They are not on the market very often.

Thanks.
