I have a 1963 d franklin half. What makes this coin unique........it has a double d misstrike. But the error is very unique.........the mark is a large d.......with a small d inside of it. I asked a dealer here and they told us they have never seen one but that it is a double d. They said to hold onto it. Just looking for some form of information about the authenticity of this coin. Any input would be of great help and very appreciated. Then use a software application that lets you copy a part of the photo then paste as a new image. This way you can post a specific area of the coin up close. Do not hesitate to ask questions.
