No, it's not an invitation to discuss non-numismatic issues. It was an invitation to share you thoughts & ideas. Which you have done - thank you.

But since the subject came up, perhaps you haven't noticed that there is now a CHAT feature on Coin Talk. You are welcome to discuss non-numismatic issues in CHAT if you wish

I wasn't being flippant, I was trying to be helpful and point out a new feature. The only place CHAT is mentioned is in the links at the top of the page. Check it out if you haven't tried it.

Found the chat - tried it and liked it. Some nice features. How do you post a scan/pic over there?

I am a casual traveler in the realm of coins so I dont thnk I have much to add but I still come when time permits and have always ejoyed my visits here. I never noticed the rules hampering anything and I think when that happens the rules have reached and equaliberium amoung the residents in the community.

Seems to be a good bunch of people here and I hope it stays that way.

In the short period I've been a member here, I've found this to be one of the better run forums on any topic. Everyone has been very helpful as I venture into a bit different side of collecting, namely error coins. I may not post a whole lot yet, but I plan on hangin' around a while.

I'm all for the rules. I come here to find out whats new, give my opinion on coin related topics and , on occasion, help someone out when I can. I've been around long enough to know that the "jerks" don't last long here and the good people stick around and improve the forum. Keep up the good work.
